In the year 1981, Julio Caro graduated from
Cornell University's College of Arts & Sciences. He has a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Theater Arts and Philosophy.
After the completion of his graduation, Julio
Caro has a clear thought in mind to do something big. He then joined the
training program of the Bank of Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company in New York
City. He was there from 1982 to 1985.
1985: Julio Caro produced his first independent and outstanding feature film
“STATIC”. Keith Gordon, Amanda Plummer, and Bob Gunton were in the main lead.
Mark Romanek was the director of the film.
1987: In this year, Caro produced “SIESTA” and Ellen Barkin, Jodie Foster, Isabella
Rossellini, and Gabriel Byrne were in the lead role.
1988 to
1995: In these consecutive years, Julio Caro was
involved in the music industry and artist management. He used to work with a
number of recording artists. Caro was the manager of the recording artists Raw
Youth, Safire, The Throbs, and The Sea Hags.
1996 to
2000: In these 4 years, Julio Caro worked at the
production company, Radical Media. He was the primary executive there and was
responsible for developing their entertainment strategy. In 2000, he also
produced the feature film “THE CELL” starring Jennifer Lopez.
2002 to
2007: In these 5 years, Julio Caro I worked with
Jennifer Lopez and produced the feature film, EL CANTANTE in 2007.
Julio Caro faced many ups and downs in his life but
till today he is as excited as he was during his first film. He is really a
great personality who is always keen to learn new things.
